Recently, the Biloxi City Council sat down to consider a smoking ban that would include all public places in the city.
According to ClarionLedger.com, people on both sides of the issue presented their ideas in front of the council. Those who are against the ban claim that it would be bad for business and personal freedom, but those for the ban think it would be a good way to crack down on secondhand smoke.
No decision has been made yet, but it's no surprise that Biloxi is considering such a ban. Many states and cities throughout the U.S. are closing in on cigarette smokers, making the areas where they can smoke more scarce.
If you don't want to have to worry about these bans, you might want to try an electronic cigarette. With no tobacco involved, e-cigs don't usually fall under the jurisdiction of smoking bans, and they're not taxed like cigarettes. You can vape wherever you want for much less than the cost of a smoking habit, all while getting the same nicotine fix.
