Across the pond, medical professionals in the United Kingdom are proposing new bans on cigarette smoking in cars. According to BBC News, "the British Medical Association called for the extension of the current ban on smoking in public places after reviewing evidence of the dangers. It highlighted research showing the levels of toxins in a car can be up to 23 times higher than in a smoky bar."
Smoking in vehicles like taxis, which are used for work purposes, is already against the law, but so far no areas of the UK have implemented laws banning smoking inside cars. However, the proposal brings up the question of where lawmakers' ideas are headed in the future.
If you're tired of worrying about new restrictions being put on your smoking habit, you may want to try electronic cigarettes. With no tobacco or smoke involved, they don't normally fall under the jurisdiction of bans. You can get still get your nicotine craving with e-cigs without having to worry about where you're vaping.
