Try an electronic cigarette if your partner is pregnant

Most people know that smoking during pregnancy is a very bad idea, but not everyone is aware that even secondhand and thirdhand smoke from other smokers can pose a threat to unborn infants.

"Pregnant women who breathe other people’s cigarette smoke are more likely to have a baby who weighs less than if they did not breathe other people’s cigarette smoke," reports The Center for Disease Control and Prevention. It's also possible for the mother to pick up tar, chemicals and toxins from the furniture, carpets and walls in her home - even if it's been a while since someone smoked inside.

If you just found out that your partner is pregnant, now is the perfect time to make the switch to electronic cigarettes. You'll still be able to get your nicotine fix, but since these devices don't involve tobacco or smoke, you won't have to worry about exposing the mother or your child to the dangers of secondhand and thirdhand smoke.

You can vape inside without risking the health of your loved ones, and no one will be able to smell a thing.
